筷子是每個人一日三餐不可或缺的進食工具,台灣「外食」人口尤其多,在餐廳、小吃攤、夜市、路邊攤,我們經常都會看到店家提供的「免洗筷」,但近年來因為健康和衛生概念抬頭,自備「環保碗筷」的習慣也正慢慢改變國人的外食習慣。


    因為免洗筷在製作過程當中,為了保持較好的賣相,通常會經過亞硫酸鹽處理,以防止筷子變黃、變黑及發霉。人體食入亞硫酸鹽後,多半會轉換成硫酸鹽,隨著尿液排出體外,但如果食入過量的亞硫酸鹽,可能會造成呼吸困難、嘔吐、腹瀉等症狀,且亞硫酸鹽會與人體的鈣結合,會有造成骨質流失之慮。


    根據媒體報導,台灣人每年共消耗約十億雙免洗筷子,約等同於砍去十萬棵竹子,而一棵竹子平均一年約可吸收10公斤的二氧化碳。換句話說,臺灣人每年因為使用環保筷而製造出100萬公斤的二氧化碳,實在驚人!


    Yahoo!奇摩綠生活建議,為了您的健康以及愛護地球著想,出門在外用餐,請您盡可能隨身攜帶「環保碗筷」,如果真的沒辦法必須使用免洗筷,也請您注意以下幾個步驟: 一、避免使用「太白」的免洗筷:太白的免洗筷有過度漂白的風險存在。


二、拿起來聞一聞:如果有一股酸酸的味道,可能含有二氧化硫,使用前切記先將筷子浸泡於溫水或熱水數秒。


三、看看包裝:盡量避免圖案印在包裝內面的免洗筷,以免吃到不明色素。

Bring your own disposable tableware



The chopsticks are indispensable tool for each person on three meals a day in Taiwan. Especially, more and more people “eat outside” in the dining room, the street vendor or the night market, we can see frequently those shops provides “disposable chopsticks” in Taiwan, but recent years, a lot of people who care about the health and the hygienic concept. Therefore people supplies disposable tableware by them. On the basis reason is provided disposable tableware by us is the well habit for you and me.


    Why we use the disposable chopsticks is not good for you? The first reason is, the manufacture process of the chopsticks in order to maintain the good appearance, the maker usually use sulfite in the process. This way could prevent the chopstick’s color do not changes into yellow, nigrescence or mildew. After The human body food enters the sulfite will transform the sulfate. Mostly discharge along with the urine; on the other hand, if human body overcharges the sulfite will cause symptoms of breath, vomit, diarrhea so on. And the sulfite can combine with human body's calcium which could create of osteoporosis.


    According to the report, the people in Taiwan were consumes the approximately 1,000,000,000 pairs of disposable chopsticks in every year. This number is equate the numbers of 100,000 bamboos have to be cut ff. And the average of bamboos may absorb 10 kilograms carbon dioxide about one year. Surprised us is the Taiwan people make disposable chopsticks that can produce 1,000,000 kilograms carbon dioxide in every year.

1. Avoid using disposable chopsticks which is too white. The reason is that the too white disposable chopsticks have a risk about over bleach 2.Takes smell. If you can smell acid on disposable chopsticks that possibly includes sulphur dioxide, so please remember the first step is immersion in the lukewarm water or the hot water for several seconds before you use chopsticks t
